Tempero Português
Commercial name for a blended oil, a mixture of refined vegetable oils (typically sunflower, soybean, and olive pomace oil) with a percentage of virgin or extra virgin olive oil.
  • Not olive oil, but with a mild olive flavour and olive colour.
  • More economical than extra virgin olive oil.
  • Greater heat resistance than virgin olive oil.
  • Widely used in food service and HORECA channels.
  • Ideal when reducing costs while maintaining a sensory profile close to olive oil.
